How much is a mullite insulation brick?

The JM series of mullite insulation bricks have JM26, JM28, JM30, JM32 according to the use temperature. The market price of each piece is a few yuan per yuan. The price will fluctuate according to the content of different indicators and the demand. About mullite Regarding the related issues of how much the insulation brick is, the specific value should be jointly decided after consultation with the refractory manufacturer.

Mullite insulation brick is a high alumina refractory material with mullite (3Al2O3·2SiO2) as the main crystal phase. Generally, the alumina content is between 65% and 75%. In addition to mullite, the mineral composition contains a small amount of glass phase and cristobalite with the lower alumina content; the higher alumina content also contains a small amount of corundum. Mullite insulation bricks can be directly used for the lining of high-temperature kilns, and have been widely used in shuttle kilns, roller kilns, glass and petrochemical kilns.

1. Product characteristics of mullite insulation bricks:

1. Low thermal conductivity and good thermal insulation effect;

2. Low impurity content has very low iron box alkali metal and other oxide content, therefore, high refractoriness; high aluminum content makes it maintain good performance in a reducing atmosphere;

3. The mullite insulation brick has low thermal melting. Due to the low thermal conductivity, the mullite series of lightweight insulation bricks accumulate little heat energy, and the energy saving effect is obvious in the intermittent operation;

4. Appearance size, speed up the masonry, reduce the amount of refractory mud, ensure the strength and stability of the masonry, thereby extending the life of the lining;

5. Mullite insulation bricks have high hot compressive strength;

6. Mullite insulation bricks can be processed into special shapes to reduce the number of bricks and joints.

2. Classification of mullite insulation bricks:

According to its production process, there are two types of mullite lightweight insulation bricks: sintered mullite bricks and fused mullite bricks:

1. Sintered mullite bricks are made of high-alumina bauxite clinker as the main raw material, adding a small amount of clay or raw bauxite as a binding agent, and forming and firing.

2. Fused mullite bricks are made of high alumina, industrial alumina and refractory clay as raw materials, and charcoal or coke fine particles are added as reducing agents. After molding, they are manufactured by reducing electric melting.

The performance and application of mullite insulation brick: high refractoriness, which can reach above 1790℃. The starting temperature of load softening is 1600~1700℃. Compressive strength at room temperature is 70~260MPa. Good thermal shock resistance. There are two types of sintered mullite bricks and fused mullite bricks. Sintered mullite bricks are made of high-alumina bauxite clinker as the main raw material, adding a small amount of clay or raw bauxite as a binder, and forming and firing. Fused mullite bricks use high alumina, industrial alumina and refractory clay as raw materials, add charcoal or coke fine particles as reducing agents, and are manufactured by reduction fusion method after molding. The crystallization of fused mullite is larger than that of sintered mullite, and its thermal shock resistance is better than that of sintered products. Their high temperature performance mainly depends on the content of alumina and the uniformity of mullite phase and glass distribution. Mainly used for hot blast stove top, blast furnace body and bottom, regenerator of glass melting furnace, ceramic sintering kiln, dead corner furnace lining of petroleum cracking system, etc.
