Reasons affecting the heating power of the intermediate frequency electric furnace

Reasons affecting the heating power of the intermediate frequency electric furnace

1. Reasons for the design of induction melting furnace:

1. The induction melting furnace has insufficient experience in the design, and the technical requirements such as the heated metal material, the size of the heated metal blank, the weight of the heated metal blank, the heating temperature and the heating time are not considered carefully, and the power of the designed induction melting furnace is not sufficient. In line with the heating process requirements, the heating power of the induction melting furnace cannot be output at full power, resulting in low heating power.

2. The design of the induction coil of the induction melting furnace will directly cause the reduction of the heating power. Therefore, the selection of parameters such as the number of turns, the distance between the turns, the diameter of the induction coil and the size of the copper tube of the induction melting furnace will be incorrect. The heating power of the induction melting furnace is greatly affected.

2. Reasons for using the induction melting furnace:

1. When the metal material heated by the induction melting furnace is not selected according to the designed metal material, the heating power of the induction melting furnace will be greatly reduced. For example, an induction melting furnace designed to heat steel is used to heat alloyed aluminum, which greatly affects the heating power of the induction melting furnace.

2. The size of the heated metal blank will also affect the heating power of the induction melting furnace. For example, an induction melting furnace is designed to heat a bar with a diameter of 100. The actual heating of a bar with a diameter of 50 will greatly reduce the heating power of the induction melting furnace.

3. Reasons for the failure of the induction melting furnace:

1. The thyristor element of the main circuit of the induction melting furnace is aging, and the decrease of its current and voltage withstand value will cause the power of the induction melting furnace to decrease; whether the thyristor resistance-capacitance absorption circuit of the main circuit of the intermediate frequency furnace is in poor contact, damage or disconnection will cause induction The power of the melting furnace decreases; the insulation damage between the turns of the reactor and the load inductor will also cause the power of the induction melting furnace to decrease; whether the cooling water circuit of the induction melting furnace is blocked, whether the water temperature is too high, or the water pressure is too low, the power of the induction melting furnace will decrease; The withstand voltage of the load compensation capacitor decreases, and the anti-interference performance of the control system decreases (especially the thyristor trigger circuit), which will cause the power of the induction melting furnace to drop; the trigger lead of the inverter circuit is too small, when the current rises, the commutation fails and the commutation fails. Activating the overcurrent protection will cause the power of the induction melting furnace to drop.

2. Both the DC voltage and the intermediate frequency voltage can send the rated value, but the DC current is very low. When Ud rises to the maximum value, the rated intermediate frequency power cannot be sent out, which will cause the power of the induction melting furnace to drop. It can be dealt with according to the following situations: improper setting of the front foot of the inverter trigger pin of the induction melting furnace; improper matching of the induction furnace and the compensation capacitor of the induction melting furnace load, and the equivalent impedance of the load current is too high.
