Specific process for quenching and heat treatment of disk saw blades with high-frequency induction hardening equipment

The working environment of the disk saw blade is very harsh. In order to meet the needs of the work, many manufacturers use high-frequency induction hardening equipment for quenching heat treatment, and the effect is good. Today, let’s take a look at the entrenched induction hardening process.

This saw blade material is equivalent to T10 steel (the difference is mainly tungsten content), the length of each disc is 400mm, the width of the saw blade is 6-38mm, the thickness of the saw blade is 0.4-1.3mm, and the number of teeth per inch (1 inch is 25.4mm) length is 3-32. The process route is: overall quenching, tempering (hardness 380-430HV), tooth opening, induction hardening of the tooth (not heated at the tooth groove), and low temperature tempering. The complete set of equipment also has a correction power supply. High-frequency induction hardening equipment is used for quenching heat treatment. The quenching method is scanning quenching, and the scanning speed is 5-15m/min. The requirement of serrated induction hardening is: only the tooth part needs to be hardened, and the tooth groove cannot be hard.

Many manufacturers use high-frequency induction hardening equipment for quenching heat treatment, and the hardness and wear resistance of the disk saw blades produced are greatly improved, which meets the requirements of the work. What’s better is that this process is suitable for mass production and can greatly improve the work efficiency of workers.
