Frequency and selection basis of high-frequency quenching equipment
Frequency and selection basis of उच्च आवृत्ति शमन उपकरण
The selection factors of the frequency of high-frequency quenching equipment:
1. The frequency conversion power supply is the energy basis to realize the rapid heat treatment of steel induction heating. The frequency of the power supply plays an important role in the induction heating process and is the most important technical basis for selecting induction heating equipment.
2. The power frequency is directly related to the electrical efficiency, thermal efficiency, heating speed and heating temperature uniformity of the induction heating process and other important indicators. At the same time, the choice of power frequency also involves economic indicators such as equipment investment costs and production costs. Therefore, the selection of power supply frequency is a complex and highly comprehensive task.
3. The electromagnetic conversion of induction heating system is more complicated, and the total efficiency of the system is difficult to obtain. Usually the efficiency of the inductor is used as the basis for selecting the power frequency. For this reason, the highest heating efficiency of the inductor is the goal of selecting the power frequency.
Several major basis for the selection of high-frequency quenching equipment:
1. Power selection: Under normal circumstances, the greater the power of our induction heating equipment, the larger the size and weight of the workpiece that can be heated or processed.
2. The frequency of the equipment: the higher the frequency, the stronger the skin effect at the position close to the induction coil (equivalent to the denser the distribution of magnetic lines of force at this position), the faster the surface heating speed of the workpiece, and the smaller the workpiece can be heated , High-frequency induction heating equipment is usually used in welding or surface hardening work. Conversely, the lower the frequency, the weaker the skin effect near the induction coil, but this is equivalent to the closer the distribution of magnetic lines of force far from the position of the induction coil and the distribution of magnetic lines near the coil, which will bring a better heat transmission effect. It is also possible to make the workpiece more uniformly heated at the same time when heating a thicker workpiece. Intermediate frequency induction heating equipment is usually used in hot forging or smelting or deep quenching applications.
3. Induction coil: Sometimes, the power and frequency of induction heating equipment can meet the needs of workpiece heating, but if the shape of the workpiece is very special, it may cause the calculated power and frequency to be unsuitable for the workpiece or work. At this time, it is necessary to customize a special coil and obtain the best power and frequency required by the workpiece through experiments. Induction coils are usually the biggest disadvantage of induction heating methods.
