The purity of argon used for blowing argon with ladle venting bricks used by general manufacturers should be 99.99%, and the oxygen content should be strictly controlled below the specified 8ppm. It should be noted that when the oxygen content exceeds the standard, the oxygen will boost the melting and accelerate the melting of the ventilating bricks, which will reduce the life of the ventilating bricks, and cause the leakage of the ventilating bricks in severe cases.
