Treatment method of induction smelting machine accident

Accidents are unpredictable. To deal with unexpected accidents calmly, calmly, and correctly, you can prevent the accident from expanding and reduce the scope of impact. Therefore, it is necessary to be familiar with the possible accidents of the induction smelter, and the correct way to deal with these accidents.

1. The induction smelting machine is out of power due to accidents such as overcurrent and grounding of the power supply network or the accident of the induction smelting machine itself. When the control circuit and the main circuit are connected to the same power source, the control circuit water pump also stops working. If the power outage can be recovered in a short time, and the power outage time does not exceed 5 minutes, there is no need to use the backup water source, just wait for the power to continue. But at this time, preparations for the standby water source to be put into operation are required. In case of a long power outage, the induction smelter can be immediately connected to a backup water source. The water source is provided by the user.

2. If the power outage is more than 5 minutes, the standby water source needs to be connected. Each time the furnace is turned on, check whether the standby water source is normal.

3. Due to the power failure and the stop of the water supply of the coil, the heat conducted from the molten iron is very large. If there is no water flow for a long time, the water in the coil may become steam, which will destroy the cooling of the coil, and the rubber tube connected with the coil and the insulation of the coil will be burnt out. Therefore, for long-term power outages, the sensor can be turned to industrial water or start an emergency gasoline engine water pump. Power outage due to induction melting machine

Status, so the coil water flow is 1/3 to 1/4 of that of energized smelting.

4. If the power outage time is less than 1h, cover the iron liquid surface with charcoal to prevent heat dissipation, and wait for the power to continue. Generally speaking, no other measures are necessary, and the temperature drop of the molten iron is also limited. For a 6t holding furnace, the temperature dropped by only 50℃ after power outage for 1h.

5. If the power outage time is more than 1h, for small-capacity induction smelters, the molten iron may solidify. It is best to switch the power supply of the oil pump to a backup power supply when the molten iron is still fluid (the emergency power supply is provided by the user), or use a manual backup pump to pour the molten iron into the emergency standby molten iron ladle or into the emergency pit in front of the furnace , The bag and the pit must be dry and free of other flammable and explosive materials. The capacity of the emergency standby hot metal ladle and the emergency pit must be greater than the rated capacity of the induction smelter. There should be a steel grid plate cover above the emergency pit, if the remaining molten iron solidifies in the crucible. However, due to various reasons, the molten iron cannot be poured temporarily, and some ferrosilicon can be added to reduce the solidification temperature of the molten iron and delay its solidification speed. If the molten iron has begun to solidify, try to destroy the crust layer on the surface and punch a hole. The large induction smelter punches 3 to 6 holes to open to the inside to facilitate the removal of gas when it is remelted and prevent the gas from expanding and causing an explosion accident.

6. When the solidified charge is energized and melted for the second time, it is best to tilt the induction smelter forward at a certain angle, so that the molten iron underneath can flow out part of the inclined lower part to prevent explosion.

7. There is a power outage during the period when the cold charge starts to melt. The charge has not been completely melted and does not need to be turned down. Keep it as it is, just continue to supply water, and wait for the next power-on time to start melting again.
