The center package is a transition device used to receive molten steel between the ladle and the mold. It is used to stabilize the steel flow, reduce the scouring of the billet shell in the mold by the steel flow, and enable the molten steel to have reasonable activities in the center package. And an appropriate long residence time to ensure that the temperature of the molten steel is uniform and the non-metallic inclusions float up separately. Regarding the multi-stream continuous casting machine, the molten steel is divided by the center package. In the multi-furnace continuous pouring, the molten steel stored in the center ladle serves as a connection when replacing the ladle.

The center package transportation equipment includes a center package car and a center package turntable, which is used to support, transport, and replace the center package. The mold is a special water-cooled steel mold. The molten steel is cooled in the mold and begins to condense to form a certain thickness of the billet shell to ensure that the billet shell will not be leaked or attacked when the cast billet is pulled out of the mold. Defects such as deformation and cracks. Therefore, it is the key equipment of the continuous casting machine.

The crystallizer oscillating equipment enables the crystallizer to reciprocate up and down according to certain requirements, avoiding the adhesion of the primary green shell and the crystallizer and the cracking. The secondary cooling equipment is mainly composed of water spray cooling equipment and slab support equipment. The effect is to spray water directly on the cast slab to make it completely coagulate; the nip roller and the side knife roll support and guide the cast slab with the liquid core, avoiding the billet from bulging, deformation and steel breakout.

The effect of the billet straightening machine is to overcome the resistance of the cast billet, the mold and the secondary cooling zone during the pouring process, pull the billet smoothly, and straighten the curved cast billet. Before pouring, it also sends the starter equipment into the crystallizer. The starter device includes two parts: the starter head and the starter rod. Its effect is to act as the “live bottom” of the mold when pouring is started, block the lower mouth of the mold, and cause the molten steel to condense on the head of the starter rod. .

After being pulled by the tension leveler, the cast billet is pulled out from the lower mouth of the mold along with the ingot bar. After the inducing bar is pulled out of the tension leveler, the inducing bar is taken off and entering the normal drawing state. The effect of the cutting equipment is to cut the slab into the required length during the trek. The casting billet transportation equipment includes roller table, pusher, cooling bed, etc., which complete the casting billet transportation, cooling and other operations.
