The amount of flue gas depends on the smelting process and the form of the fume hood. After calculating the exhaust air volume of the two induction melting furnaces, it is included in the calculation:

The size of the 1T induction melting furnace worktable is the same size as the vacuum hood 1*1M

The size of the 2T induction melting furnace worktable is the same size as the vacuum hood 1.2*1.2M

Calculation of air volume handled by 1 ton intermediate frequency road: Q=3600*1.4*P*H*V=3600*1.4*4*1.5*0.75=22680M3/H

Calculation of air volume processed by 2 ton intermediate frequency road: Q=3600*1.4*P*H*V=3600*1.4*4.8*1.5*0.75=27216M3/H

2. The air pressure of the exhaust fan is calculated

The above calculation of flue gas volume is known, the flue gas volume of heat treatment induction melting furnace is 23000 m3/h and 27000 m3/h. System resistance: exhaust hood 200Pa + pipe 300Pa + bag filter 1500 Pa + residual pressure 400Pa=2400Pa.

Two, pollutant analysis:

1. Smoke and dust

According to the test of similar factories, the initial concentration of smoke and dust is 1200-1400 mg/m3, and the smoke blackness is 3-5 (Lingelmann grade).

2. Flue gas temperature

After being captured by the exhaust hood, the flue gas has been mixed with a large amount of cold air, and the temperature of the mixed flue gas entering the pipe is less than 100°C.

3. Treatment process

This design scheme adopts: each of the two heat treatment induction melting furnaces uses a bag filter, which is designed according to the 2t steel output, and the two heat treatment induction melting furnaces adopt the top suction hood smoke extraction process.

The heat treatment induction melting furnace uses a clamp-type fume exhaust hood during the smelting period with a good smoke extraction effect and is less affected by the lateral air flow. The smoke capture efficiency is >96%. After the flue gas is captured by the exhaust hood, it enters the sub-chamber online pulse spray automatic dust bag dust collector through the pipeline, and then the clean gas is drawn and discharged by the exhaust fan.

3. Selection of dust collector:

Heat treatment induction melting furnace smoke dust has fine particle size, high viscosity and strong adhesion. To meet these filtering characteristics, DUST64-5 air box pulse dust collector produced by Dassman Environmental Protection can be used for 1 ton electric furnace.

The 2 ton induction melting furnace adopts DUST64-6 air box pulse dust collector produced by Dassman Environmental Protection to meet this working condition.

1. Design of dust removal station (bag dust collector)

Bag cleaning brings difficulties. Adopting general bag filter has poor dust removal effect and will cause bag sticking. It is necessary to use a good effect “air box pulse offline dust cleaning bag dust collector”, and the filter material is oil-proof, waterproof and easy-to-clean polyester needle felt. The dust removal of the filter bag is controlled automatically.

The dust removal efficiency of the bag filter is 99%, the dust emission concentration after dust removal is 14mg/m3, and the hourly dust emission is 0.077kg/h. The above indicators are lower than the national emission standards. The service life of the filter bag is more than 1 year

2. Power distribution and automatic control

The main exhaust fan adopts reduced pressure to start. The bag filter adopts timing or constant pressure automatic control and alarm display.
